What is a virtual water saving visit?

A virtual water saving visit is where one of our friendly experts will ask you various questions about how you use water in your home. From the answers you give they’ll be able to recommend how you can save water and save money on your water bill. This is achieved by small behavioural changes, accompanied with a selection of FREE water saving devices.

Unlike regular water saving visits, there’s no need for our expert to physically be in your home, it all takes place through your smart device!

How long does it take?

Normally the virtual visits take between 30 and 45 minutes depending on the size of your property.

To ensure that your visit goes as smoothly as possible, you can answer a few short questions about your water usage which our expert can look at before your visit.

Is it secure?

Absolutely!

Our virtual water saving visits aren’t recorded and are encrypted so no one other than you and our expert can see what’s happening. If you have any privacy concerns please check out our privacy policy. Or contact us using the form at the bottom of the page.

What do I need for my virtual water saving visit?

For your virtual audit you will need a smart device (tablet or smartphone) which has adequate charge in it (we recommend around 70%)

If you haven’t had a chance to complete the short questions, please ensure that you have a measuring jug with you so you can carry out the flow rate measurements during the audit. We recommend you also have something you can pour water you use into, like a watering can!

Will my device be compatible with the virtual visit?

As long as your smart device has a camera and is an Android/iOS tablet or smartphone you should be absolutely fine!

Because you’ll be moving around your home we don’t recommend carrying out the visit on a laptop or desktop computer.

You will be asked to place your device down during the visit, please ensure you place it down safely on a clear surface.

I can't make my visit

Don’t worry if you can’t make your visit! We can re-arrange it for a more convenient date and time. If you are able to, please fill in the contact form before your visit is due to start.
